Terms of Service
Last updated: [fill in date]
Before you publish this: this is a starting draft, not legal advice — have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it, especially before submitting it as part of Google's OAuth verification or taking payment from real customers. Replace every bracketed placeholder with your real details.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of InboxForge (the "Service"), operated by [Your Business/App Name] ("we," "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

InboxForge connects to your Google account to classify, organize, and (with your configuration or approval) reply to email, and provides CRM and analytics features built on top of that data.

2. Eligibility and account access

You must have a valid Google account to use the Service. During InboxForge's early-access period, new sign-ins may require the administrator to first add your Google account as an authorized user — this is a requirement of Google's own OAuth review process, not a feature of the Service itself. The administrator may suspend or terminate access to any account at their discretion, including for suspected abuse, violation of these Terms, or non-payment where applicable.

3. Automation is your responsibility

InboxForge can be configured to send email automatically on your behalf (auto-replies, campaigns, AI Autopilot). Every automated-send feature defaults to requiring your manual approval before anything goes out. If you disable approval requirements, emails will be sent without further review by you or us — you are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and compliance (including anti-spam law compliance, e.g. CAN-SPAM/GDPR) of anything the Service sends on your behalf, whether AI-drafted or rule-generated.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to send unsolicited bulk email in violation of applicable law, to harass or deceive recipients, or to access any account or data other than your own. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this section.

5. Data ownership

You retain ownership of the content of your emails, contacts, and other data you store in the Service. We do not claim ownership over your data and do not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service to you (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and are not liable for lost data, missed emails, or business losses arising from downtime, third-party API outages (Google, AI providers), or bugs — though we'll make reasonable efforts to fix issues promptly.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
